One For The Other: Former AEW Star Lands In New Wrestling Promotion

That’s a get. There are all kinds of talented starts in AEW and WWE but every so often, someone will leave ne of the promotions or one reason or another. This can lead to a variety of new options for them as several other promotions could be interested in their services. That seems to be the case again, as a former AEW wrestler now has a new home promotion.

Over the weekend at Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory, Sonny Kiss debuted as a surprise in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match. This marked Kiss’ first appearance in the company and according to PWInsider.com, it is the start of a full time run for the company. It is not clear if Kiss has signed a contract with Impact Wrestling. Kiss left AEW earlier this year after wrestling there since the company’s inception.

Opinion: This is one of the good things that happens when a bigger promotion loses a wrestler. A place like Impact Wrestling can always use some fresh talent and Kiss is more than talented enough to be a valuable asset. It’s the kind of move that could give a fresh boost to Impact Wrestling and hopefully it works out well for the promotion and Kiss at the same time.
