Welcome back. There are all kinds of reasons for wrestlers to take time away from the ring and some of them can be rather serious. You never know when someone might be needing some time away from the ring, though there are times when such an absence is planned in advance. That was the case with a prominent WWE star but now she is back in a rather big way.

The main event of this week’s SmackDown saw Charlotte challenge Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Title in a losing effort. Following the main event, Damage CTRL attacked Charlotte until Bianca Belair returned to make the save to end the show. This was Belair’s first appearance since August 18 when Damage CTRl attacked her. Belair was out of action due to planned time off.

She’s back. Check out the return and Belair in action:

Opinion: This is one of those things that had been teased on the way to Crown Jewel as Belair was already featured on the poster. Belair is one of the biggest stars the women’s division has ever seen and she is going to add a nice boost to the promotion. I’m not sure what that is going to include for her, but she seems likely to be going after Damage CTRL, which is about as logical as she can go at the moment.

What do you think of Belair’s return? When will she be Women’s Champion again? Let us know in the comments below.
