Someone’s back. When Finn Balor went down with his horrible injury back in August, the immediate question was “when will he be back.” The speculation started with “Royal Rumble 2017” but Balor wasn’t back yet. That made “Wrestlemania XXXIII” the new goal and now it seems to be a possibility.

Balor made an appearance at tonight’s “NXT” taping from the University of Central Florida (full spoilers here) and saved Shinsuke Nakamura from an attack by Andrade Cien Almas and Bobby Roode. It might have been a post-taping dark segment but WWE has released footage of the return on their Instagram page.

Also, according to a Tweet from a fan in attendance, Balor says he’s not medically cleared yet but will be back soon.

Opinion: There’s no such thing as having too much talent around and this could mean more star power as we head into “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. Unless Balor takes a detour down to NXT for some rehab, you have to think he’ll be at the big show. I’m not sure what he’s going to be doing there but he’ll come in hot and that’s a great thing to have.

What do you think Balor does at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”? Should he go back to NXT for a bit? Let us know in the comments below.
