Now that’s being a heel. Last month, Daniel Bryan turned heel in quite the surprising turn, sending a lot of things in a very different direction. It turns out that Bryan is one of the better villains on the roster, and that means he knows how to make people angry. He can also hurt people’s feelings, which is a big part of being a heel. It turns out that includes being mean to children.
This is rather harsh. Check out Daniel Bryan ruining a kid’s birthday:
As seen in the video above, Bryan defended his WWE Title after last night’s SmackDown Live. Before the match took place, Bryan called out a young fan in the crowd who was holding up a sign saying that it was his birthday. Bryan wasn’t happy with the fan and called him stupid, saying that he the kid’s parents were horrible and how happy he would be to get out of such a horrible town as Austin, Texas
Opinion: I could go for more of this. Bryan is the kind of guy who is going to have to work hard to get heat on himself as he’s one of the top stars of the current generation and one of the most popular. Insulting children is about as much of a guaranteed way as you can get so having him do this might be mean, but it’s something that has worked for years in wrestling and it would work for Bryan.
Do you think this is going too far? How successful can Bryan be as a villain? Let us know in the comments below.
