WATCH: 36 Year Old Former WWE Champion Talks Wanting To Return To The Ring

Not done? Retirement is one of the most confusing concepts in wrestling as you never know when a wrestler is going to actually hang it up. Occasionally a wrestler who has not wrestled for years will decide to get back in the ring again one more time, which can often be quite the surprise. Now a former WWE star is teasing doing just that again in a move you might not see coming.

Former WWE star Melina was being interviewed by MuscleManMalcolm when Alicia Fox made a surprise appearance. Melina said she thought Fox, 36, had retired but Fox said she never said that. Fox went on to say that she wasn’t happy with being labeled as retired and that she had been talking to Booker T. and Sharmell about returning to the ring. She also hinted at working with Trinity and Mercedes Mone, with Melina saying she would be interested in joining her. This comes a few weeks after an announcement that Fox’s WWE contract had expired, despite her full time career ending in 2019. Fox last wrestled at the 2022 Royal Rumble.

Opinion: Fox getting back into the ring at only thirty six years old would not be a stretch as she is far from ancient. She has the talent and the resume to warrant a run somewhere and it could be interesting to see her get back in the ring. If nothing else, I’m sure there is an audience who would want to see her in the ring and it would not surprise me to see this happen at some point.
