Don’t tell me you didn’t do this at some point. Back in the mid 1990s, Jeff Jarrett came to the WWF with plans to use it as a stepping stone to country music glory. He was ready to be a country music superstar but the whole wrestling thing got in his way. Well that and the fact that the future Road Dogg was the one doing the actual singing. Before that was revealed though, Jarrett had a song that people thought was his own, and it just happened to be catchy.
So catchy that people still sing it today.
Who is inducting Jarrett into the Hall of Fame?
Opinion: I hate to admit it but I’ve had this song on my iPod for years now because it’s just so catchy. Jarrett might not have had the most success in the WWF but this thing is very memorable and gives me some nice flashbacks to the days of the New Generation. He took the character as far as he could have and then found new live with his other stuff later on. Still though, this is what I, and probably several others, remember him for most.
