The time has come and gone for tributes. Jeff Hardy has become one of the longest tenured wrestlers in WWE, having debuted all the way back in 1994. While he hasn’t been along all that time, Hardy is the definition of a WWE guy and someone who has had more success than almost anyone else in the company. That sounds like a good reason to celebrate, which WWE has done.
Some of those Swantons were really, really big. Check out this great tribute:
Earlier this week on SmackDown Live, WWE celebrated twenty years since Hardy signed with the company back in 1998. The tribute included a video package on Hardy’s WWE time, which included a long look back at his time with the company. This included clips of Hardy’s time both as a tag team wrestler and a singles star, including his World Title win back in 2008.
Opinion: I know Hardy has had his ups and downs but when he was on his game, he was one of the biggest stars the company has ever seen. He got very close to being on John Cena’s level as the top star of the company. While he might never become that big again, the best times he had are some of the biggest ever and he’s still a star now, even in the twilight of his career.
What do you think of Hardy? Could he ever be World Champion again? Let us know in the comments below.
