Video: Top Ten Referees Get Wrecked

It was better in No Mercy. A concept you’ll see come up every now and then in wrestling is the guest referee. Usually this is part of a big story and that means the match is going to be a big deal. Another concept WWE likes to use is the ref bump, especially in its bigger matches. I think you know where this is going.

WWE has released a new Top Ten on its YouTube page counting down the best moments of guest referees getting beaten up. As you probably guessed, most of these are wrestlers who shouldn’t be that banged up from taking a little offense but there are some McMahons thrown in there as well. Here’s the video:

Opinion: This isn’t the most thrilling countdown as there’s only so much you can get out of this topic. None of them really stand out and you could probably put them in any order you wanted. I’ve never been a big fan of the guest referee concept and most of these didn’t really do much for me.
