Before the SmackDown days. There’s no secret to the fact that Monday Night Raw is the biggest wrestling show in the world at the moment and likely ever. It’s the flagship show of WWE and that has been the case for a very long time now. However, you can also have other shows, such as SmackDown live at the moment. That wasn’t always the secondary show though, and WWE is looking back at one of its predecesors.

Can you feel the heat?

Sunday Night Heat's hottest moments: WWE Top 10, July 30, 2018

WWE has released a new Top Ten video, looking at the Hottest Moments in the history of Sunday Night Heat. The show, which debuted in 1998, ran just shy of ten years and served as the second biggest show under the WWE banner until the debut of SmackDown in 1999. The show originally featured matches between top names including Steve Austin, before becoming a show more focused on lower card matches and recaps.

Opinion: Really, there wasn’t anything else that could have been on top. That was a major moment and while it didn’t have much long term importance given that the title changed back almost immediately, it was still a unique match. It’s the match that most people remember from the show as it took place in one of the company’s most popular eras. There are other moments in the show’s history, but nothing came close to that one.
