She’s one of a kind. There are a lot of interesting people in wrestling. I know that they are mostly remembered and known for what they do in the ring, but there is another side to them that can see them doing some rather unique stuff. That comes with their celebrity status, but some times they do some rather odd things. One of the most interesting people on the roster just got to do exactly that.

There are very few wrestlers who have made the same kind of impact in WWE as Asuka. She debuted in NXT back in 2015 and did not lose a match for the better part of three years. That is just her in-ring work though, as she has done a lot outside of wrestling. In addition to performing in the ring, she has also launched a cooking/gaming channel on YouTube, designed graphics for video games and owns a hair salon. That is quite the list of accomplishments, but she has now done something that is rather odd.

Earlier this week, Asuka was featured on the Gochi Gang series on the First We Feast YouTube channel in a video showing her and a host eating a special kind of Japanese eel. The video explains the cooking of the eel and gives a brief biography of Asuka, who also talks about herself and her love of sushi. This includes a discussion of her diet and history in wrestling.

This is quite the interesting look at Asuka. Check out the full thing, with her section starting at 8:15:

Opinion: The more I hear about Asuka, the more fascinating I find her. She has one of the most well rounded backgrounds that you are going to find in a wrestler and she just happens to be one of the most talented performers in the world today. It can be rather cool to get a look into another side of a wrestler’s life like this one and Asuka is certainly interesting enough to make this work.

What do you think of Asuka? When will she be Women’s Champion again? Let us know in the comments below.
