Video: Rusev and Lana Impersonate Elias and Bayley

Impression is the sincerest form of pre-match strategy. Over the last few weeks, “Mixed Match Challenge” has been a pleasant surprise from WWE. While the fans might not be watching it in droves, there has been a lot of entertaining stuff coming out of it, especially in the promos hyping up the matches. The wrestlers are having fun with it, and that’s what we’re getting for this week’s match.

In a new video posted to WWE’s Twitter, Rusev and Lana impersonate Elias and Bayley heading into Tuesday’s episode of “Mixed Match Challenge”. Rusev plays the guitar and talks the words of a song while Lana stands/kneels next to him playing the air guitar and mocks Bayley. Here’s the video:

Opinion: This is what I love about a show like “Mixed Match Challenge”. Fans often complain about how serious everything is done in WWE and how there’s no individuality shown. That’s not the case here as the wrestlers are getting to show what they can do with a little more creativity. The results have been good so far and that’s more than I was expecting coming in.
