Well, this is good news!

According to a report from WrestlingIncTamina Snuka recently underwent successful surgery for a torn rotator cuff. It is unknown how long she will be out of action.

According to the report, Snuka sustained the injury before the first ever Women’s “Royal Rumble” match, and her status was in question for the event. However, she ended up competing and was eliminated by Lita after lasting entering at #7 and lasting about two minutes.

Prior to the “Rumble,” she last competed on the January 2 episode of “Smackdown Live,” where she competed in a 6-woman tag match. Tamina, along with Carmella and Natalya took on Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan of the Riott Squad.

You can see a clip of that match below:

The typical timetable for a return from a torn rotator cuff surgery is 6-8 months.

Editor’s Opinion:

I’ve always been a fan of Tamina’s. I think that she has a great look, is very physical in the ring, and could be a major player if given the right opportunity. We hope that she has a speedy recovery and is back on “Smackdown Live” very soon!
