You mean you can fit them all into one video? Steve Austin is one of, if not the, biggest stars in the history of professional wrestling. While his time on top wasn’t as long as some, he reached a level that no one reached either before or after and he is still revered today. Armed with a pair of middle fingers and an all time great catchphrase, Austin got over like no one else and today is a special day on his calendar.
WHAT? Check out WHAT WWE calls Austin’s top moments:
In honor of March 16 (3:16), WWE has posted a new video looking at Austin’s greatest moments throughout his WWE career. The video is mostly chronological but there are a few moments that are out of order. Nothing on the list is from outside the WWF/E, though only some took place in actual matches while the majority are segments or moments from Austin’s career.
Opinion: What else is there even to say about Austin? He saved the company and changed the business as one of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling. There’s something about that glass shattering and seeing him come down the ramp with that look in his eyes that tells you what’s coming. Austin was a different kind of star and that’s the kind of person that is never going to be topped.
