It would certainly be a welcome upgrade. WWE is a company that has a lot of major issues that need to be fixed but one of the biggest certainly seems to be the way wrestlers talk to each other. The criticism seems to be centered around the fact that almost no one actually talks like a normal human. It’s a fair complaint, and as it turns out something might actually be done about it for a change.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is shifting more towards a reality style of promos, with the wrestlers and personalities talking more like their character would speak. This would be a change from the overly scripted promos which are considered to be given in a way that no normal person would use. There is no word on if this is just for WrestleMania season or if it would be a permanent change.

Yeah more like this. Check out Samoa Joe’s awesome way of speaking:

Opinion: This is one of those things that could shake things up in a major way, though there is a real chance that it’s going to go away in another six weeks or so. WWE wrestlers talking so strangely isn’t exactly the kind of thing that makes people want to watch the shows and a change of pace could do a lot of good things for the company. It’s not like things could get much worse than they were a few months ago.
