Who’s up next? WWE is in the mood to change things up a bit and that includes adding some new stories to their television product. They have to move their stories around somewhat to make things a little bit different, which means including some different characters in various roles. They have started doing so, but another name seems to have made a change this week.

Over the last few weeks, Seth Rollins has established himself as the top villain on Monday Night Raw. Flanked by the monstrous AOP, Rollins has attacked both Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio with no one being able to slow him down in the slightest. Those two are likely to fight back, but they are going to need some help. That help may have been identified and Rollins could be in trouble.

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw ended with Rollins losing a United States Title match to Mysterio via disqualification when the AOP interviewed. After the match was over, the three of them attacked Mysterio and attempted to put him through the announcers’ table. However, Samoa Joe refused to get up, saying that if he did, it would be for a fight. Rollins backed down from Samoa Joe but send the AOP to attack them. The AOP then put him through the announcers’ table to end the show.

I think we’re onto something. Check out Samoa Joe being attacked:

Seth Rollins and AOP lay waste to Rey Mysterio and Samoa Joe: Raw, Dec. 23, 2019

Opinion: Works for me. Samoa Joe comes off as someone who is capable of beating anyone at any time and it could be awesome to see him getting a major face run for a change. I’m not sure how well it would work, but after everything that he has done, I would love to eventually see Samoa Joe getting a run as a WWE World Champion. If some of the people who have gotten the title can get it, so can he, perhaps under his new alignment.

Did you like the angle? How will Samoa Joe’s new character go? Let us know in the comments below.
