You can see him against some people. John Cena is one of the biggest stars in the history of WWE, whether you like him or not. He’s one of the most successful wrestlers ever and has faced nearly everyone that there is to face. Some of those people, such as Edge and Randy Orton, have faced Cena a crazy amount of times, but what about some of those people he’s only faced once or twice?
Remember this one?
WWE has released a new edition of List This looking at five rare Cena matches. The list is exactly what it sounds like, with clips of Cena facing a variety of opponents for the first and in many cases only time ever. The list goes back over ten years with the oldest entry taking place in 2006 and one match being a triple threat match instead of a case where Cena wrestled someone one on one.
Opinion: There’s no denying that Cena has been a force in WWE as long as almost anyone at the top of the company. A list like this also shows that he’ll face anyone and usually get a good match out of them. That’s what made his US Open Challenges so exciting. There was genuine drama about seeing who would be coming down that ramp next and going one on one with an all time great. You don’t get that out of a lot of people but Cena has been doing it for years.
