Video: Charlotte And AJ Styles Take A Funny Fall After Last Night’s Mixed Match Challenge

Win as a team, fall as a team. This week, WWE brought back Mixed Match Challenge for its second season this year. The idea is very simple: take a pair and put them together to see which can be the last team standing. That concept gave us the dream team of AJ Styles and Charlotte, who were in action on the first show of the season. Then things went downhill.

And down they go.

After last night’s season premiere of Mixed Match Challenge, featuring Charlotte and Styles defeating Jimmy Uso and Naomi, Styles tripped and fell on the floor outside the ring. That doesn’t sound too bad on its own, but he actually took his partner down with him. The two of them on the floor was the final shot of the show. They took it in stride though, and laughed about it in a video posted after the show was over.

At least they can have a laugh.

Opinion: You can’t take something like this seriously. They’re professional athletes and sometimes something is going to mess up. Styles and Charlotte are very good choices for a team and something like this is rather charming. Just let them go out there and have some fun and thankfully the video they threw in after the match made things all the more entertaining.
