Make sure you see it from every angle. There’s a lot to be seen on any given episode of WWE TV, but sometimes you just have to be there. On any given week you’re likely to see at least one or two dark matches but occasionally you’re going to get something special that doesn’t make TV. That was the case again this week, as an angle took place before the show, though it was later posted for the masses to see.

WWE has posted a new video showing an angle that took place before the cameras started rolling on this week’s SmackDown Live. Before the show started, Samoa Joe attacked Tye Dillinger, who was on his way to the ring for a match with Samoa Joe. The two were scheduled to have a match tonight, as listed in the official preview for the show by way of 411mania.com. There is no word on when the match will take place, assuming it ever does.

Opinion: I can’t imagine this is going to be anything but a short term angle as it’s not like Dillinger has anything going on at the moment. Samoa Joe seems poised to become a new World Title contender, perhaps even getting a title match at Summerslam next month. Having him run over Dillinger and making his challenge for the title after would make sense. I’m not sure where Dillinger could go from this but it’s better than nothing at all.
