Get his face off the milk carton. There are all kinds of names on the WWE roster and some of them get to be on television a lot more often than others. That can make for some interesting situations as you don’t know who is going to show up on any given night. At the same time though, there are some wrestlers who do not show up and now we know why one wrestler has not been around.
Back in July, Davey Boy Smith Jr. returned to WWE, wrestling a dark match before an episode of Monday Night Raw. Smith appeared in a video after the match, saying he was back in WWE, but he has not wrestled since or appeared on WWE television. According to PWInsider.com, Smith is still with WWE but has not been assigned to a brand as of yet. His situation is described as “hurry up and wait” at the moment.
You might need to get to know him again. Check out some of Smith’s time in WWE:
Opinion: This explains a bit, as it isn’t like WWE is known for its organizational skills. Smith is a talented wrestler but you’re only going to get so much out of WWE these days. They are having trouble finding a spot for their pushed wrestlers, let alone someone who has not been around in more than ten years. That’s part of WWE’s problem in a nutshell these days, and I’m hoping it gets fixed soon.
What do you expect from Smith? Where should he go? Let us know in the comments below.
