That’s just not good. Injuries are one of the scariest things in all of wrestling and they can strike anyone at any time. That’s the case with Jason Jordan, who hasn’t wrestled in nearly eight months and at the moment, he might not ever do so again. Jordan went under the knife for a neck injury earlier in the year and has yet to wrestle again. Now, it seems that it might be the case permanently.
According to the Mirror, Jordan might not be back at all as his neck injuries seem to be worse than originally reported. There have been various reports over the last few months about Jordan being ready to come back to the ring at various points but at the moment, it doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon. Jordan has been being groomed as a backstage worker to continue his time with the company. His last match with the company was at the Royal Rumble in January.
Hopefully we see him again after this.
Opinion: I wasn’t the biggest Jordan fan in the world but my goodness that’s too young for someone so good to have to retire. Jordan was a heck of a talent down in NXT and was starting to find his footing on the main roster as well. These things are hard to come back from and while there is a chance that Jordan could defy the odds, this certainly isn’t the most promising news in the world.
