Three times the gold? 205 Live has been on the air for just shy of two years now and the show has really started to find its groove. Things are getting into a pretty standard pattern and that means you’re going to be able to see some entertaining stuff every single week. However, that means that the show needs to shake things up a bit before they get stale, though one idea to fix that problem isn’t likely to happen at the moment.
According to Cagesideseats.com, WWE commissioned designs for 205 Live Cruiserweight Tag Team Titles but the plans have been scrapped as 205 Live isn’t in the best place in the world at the moment. There is no word on when the titles would have been introduced or if the titles were ever actually made. There has been no mention on any more titles being introduced on 205 Live’s television broadcasts.
Here’s what we might have been missing, just with titles on the line.
Opinion: Good. Almost every week’s episode of 205 Live follows the same format: a midcard match, a squash, and a main event with promos in between. There is barely enough time to get the Cruiserweight Title involved in the first place and WWE wanted to add in two more champions? How in the world could have have been a good idea? The Tag Team Titles didn’t need to exist, as it’s not like there are enough names on the roster to have much of a division in the first place.
