They didn’t have anywhere else to go. According to 411mania.com,
Basile Baraka and Baron Dax (the Tribunal) are gone from TNA as their contracts recently expired. The fact that Dax lives in Canada and Baraka lives in France made travel a bit of an issue. There’s a chance that they could be brought back in down the line.
After leaving NXT back in February, the duo debuted on “Impact Wrestling” on March 24 with Al Snow as their manager. The Tribunal didn’t have the most success in TNA as they lost their feud with Snow and Mahabali Shera, as well as their only shot at the Tag Team Titles. They haven’t actually won a televised match since an episode of “Impact Wrestling” in August.

Honestly, this is probably the best call. The Tribunal are little more than jobbers at this point and they’re losing to a comedy team of Snow/Shera. There’s really not much of a need for them and they’re basically being wedged into the shows on the occasions they can make it on. It’s really not much of a loss but I’m worried about what might take their place.
Did you like the Tribunal? Who do you see taking their places on the TNA roster? Let us know in the comments below.
