Two New Collections Added to WWE Network

Just in case you didn’t have enough to watch. The WWE Network has added two new Collections today, debuting “Trish and Lita: Evolutionary” and “WWE Match of the Year”. The WWE Collections are a playlist of matches and promos focusing on a specific theme, such as Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon or great Wrestlemania moments.

Trish Stratus vs. Lita was one of the truly pioneering feuds for women’s wrestling with the final match main eventing “Monday Night Raw” on December 6, 2004. Until the recent Divas Revolution, this was arguably the high point for women’s wrestling and wouldn’t be touched for a long time. Match of the Year speaks for itself but also contains NXT matches as a bonus.

I’m a big fan of the Collections idea as it’s basically a DVD. You can put together almost any collection you want in something like this and make it work. On top of that it helps so much to have the full WWE video library so it’s not just the big matches but also all the talking that sets those matches up.
