It all came down to this. Over the last few months, WWE has presented a long running round robin tournament featuring a variety of male and female teams fighting for the right to be the #30 entrants in their respective Royal Rumbles along with an all expenses paid vacation to anywhere in the world. So now that the tournament has finally come to an end, what happened in the finals?
At Tables, Ladders and Chairs, the team of R-Truth and Carmella won the competition, defeating Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox in the finals when Carmella made Fox submit. The win means that R-Truth and Carmella will be the #30 entrants in the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble respectively. They also received a vacation, which R-Truth decided should be to WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
The second part didn’t go so well. Check out the announcement of their vacation destination:
Opinion: I mean, it’s not like either option in the finals worked all that well. This is as good of a plan as they could have had and at least the #30 entrants should be entertaining, or at least energizing. R-Truth and Carmella are good at what they do and that’s going to keep them around for the time being. The tournament wasn’t the best thing in the world, but at least they got a little something out of the winners.
Do you like the choice of the winners? Where should they have picked for their vacation? Let us know in the comments below.
