Third Time’s The Charm: New Match Set For Summerslam

One more for the list. We’re less than two weeks away from Summerslam and that means the majority of the card has been set. Of course there are still a few matches to be announced and one of those matches was set on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw. It’s a match that you’ve seen before, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth seeing one more time on a bigger stage.

As announced on this week’s Monday Night Raw, Finn Balor will face Baron Corbin at Summerslam later this month. The two of them have fought twice already and split the first two matches. Balor defeated Corbin at Extreme Rules with a small package but Corbin evened things up last week on Monday Night Raw. The two started fighting when Corbin made fun of Balor’s size, which he sees as preventing Balor from being a star.

Opinion: I’m still not sure I get the idea of having the long match on the free TV show. The pay per view match ran about eight and a half minutes while the rematch was over twenty. It’s not the most thrilling feud in the first place as the two matches haven’t been great and Corbin’s ranting about Balor being small isn’t exactly keeping me glued to my TV. Maybe the third time is the charm.
