They’ve earned it. Every so often, you will see some wrestlers who have surprise chemistry. Despite there not being a long history or any reason to expect them to do well together, you can see the success happening right in front of you. Wrestling promotions can see this as well and now it seems that WWE is seeing some chemistry between two wrestlers and are praising them as a result.

Over the last two months, Kofi Kingston has faced Ivar of the Viking Raiders in a variety of matches, including a Viking Rules match on the October 9 Monday Night Raw. According to Fightful Select, the two have received backstage praise for their recent matches. The matches were made as a result of an injury to Ivar’s partner Erik, resulting in Ivar wrestling his first singles match in nearly five years.

They do work well together. Check out some of their matches:

Opinion: It really is easy to see how good the two of them are together and they have had some rather nice matches. Their Viking Rules match was a very solid back and forth fight and I could go for seeing them do something else together. Sometimes you just find a pairing who work this well together and in this case that shouldn’t be a surprise given the talent involved.
