The Future: Shawn Michaels Praises Two Up And Coming WWE Stars, Calls Them “Fantastic”

That’s some high praise. There are all kinds of stars on the WWE roster and many of them are established as the biggest names in the industry today. At the same time, some of them are stars who are up and coming and still waiting to get their shot at glory. Two of those stars are going to be getting such a chance next week and one of the biggest names in wrestling history is rather happy for them.

Earlier this week, WWE announced that Trick Williams vs. Carmelo Hayes will headline next weekend’s NXT Stand & Deliver event, which is regularly the biggest NXT show of the year. WWE executive Shawn Michaels spoke about the match on Busted Open Radio, where he praised both Hayes and Williams. Michaels said he loved both of them and called them “fantastic”. He went on to say that it is the most passionate storyline in NXT history and the two deserve the main event.

Opinion: Michaels is spot on with most of this as there is no reason for these two to not headline the show. It is a personal feud between two of the biggest starts in NXT at the moment so why not let them get together and showcase themselves on the big stage? There will be thousands of people there watching the show so good for them for getting this kind of a chance.
