It can be done. Injuries are some of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as they can stop momentum out of nowhere. Depending on how bad the injury might be, the question becomes how long someone is going to be out of action. Occasionally the answer to that is not at all, as a wrestler might be able to work around the situation. That might be the case again with a big star.

Last month, it was revealed that AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman was believed to have suffered a torn labrum during his match at Full Gear. However, this week on Dynamite, Friedman agreed to a tag match next week on Dynamite. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Friedman is not going to get surgery to fix the issue, believing that he can use rehab and stem cell treatment to get through. Friedman is also expected to wrestle in “careful” and “smoke & mirror” matches before his title defense against Samoa Joe at Worlds End on December 30.

Opinion: That should make something interesting, as Friedman is almost carrying the promotion on his back right now. At some point something like this is going to happen though and now we will have to see how he can manage to get around the whole situation. What matters most is his health, but that pay per view is a long way off for someone with that kind of an injury.
