That’s quite the honor. AEW has shaken up the wrestling world in a very positive way and that is the kind of thing you do not see that happen very often. A lot of the company’s success and the ensuing shakeup can be credited to company President Tony Khan. In addition to running the promotion, Khan also books the shows. At some point someone might have to take his place though, and Khan has an interesting suggestion as to whom that should be.

During an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Khan was asked who he would trust to book an AEW show should he not be able to do so. Khan said that if he “got hit by a bus or if I was ever incapacitated for some reason, the person I told my father that he should turn to is Bryan Danielson.” There is nothing to suggest that Khan has any plans to step away or step back from booking AEW’s events.
He can certainly go in the ring. Check out what Danielson can do as a wrestler:
Opinion: It’s a good sign that Khan has figured out someone he would want to take over the booking if he needed to step away, as at some point he is going to need some help. Bookers at some point either need help or just a break, and if Danielson is the person who can take some of that pressure off of Khan, and assuming he is willing to do so, it might be worth looking into in the future. Khan needs some help just due to the amount he is trying to do, and maybe Danielson can be that help.
