That’s A Long Time: Injury Update On Asuka, How Long She Could Be Out

That’s a long time. Injuries can be terrible for any wrestler as they can put anyone on the shelf for a very long time. You never know when you are going to see someone suffer a severe injury and miss quite a bit of time as a result. Unfortunately that was the case with a current WWE Superstar and now we have a better idea of just how long they are going to be out of action.

Earlier this year, Asuka revealed that she had undergone knee surgery to repair an unspecified injury. According to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, Asuka is not expected to return to the ring by the end of the year. Asuka has posted videos updating fans on her recovery status. Her most recent match took place on May 4 at Backlash in France.

Opinion: That is rough to hear, but at the end of the day, Asuka having this serious of an injury is not exactly surprising. Knee injuries can be absolutely terrible and devastating as the damage can take a long time to really clear up. Hopefully she is back in the ring sooner than later, as it is a shame to see someone as talented as she is sitting on the sidelines for this long.
