So that wasn’t enough? One of the featured attractions at “Tables Ladders and Chairs 2017”, Asuka made her WWE main roster debut. Asuka dominated NXT for the better part of two years and was never defeated as part of their roster. She won her main roster debut by defeating Emma and it seems that her second match is already set.
In a video posted on WWE’s YouTube page, Emma says that she isn’t pleased with what happened at the pay per view and that she wanted a rematch with Asuka tomorrow night on “Monday Night Raw”. Asuka defeated Emma after kicking her in the head and applying the Asuka Lock.
Emma is not done with Asuka and plans to take her spotlight back: Exclusive, Oct. 22, 2017
Opinion: This is one of WWE’s booking tropes that always drives me crazy. We just saw this match on the pay per view and now we’re seeing it again the next night. What can be proven that wasn’t proven in the first match? Just bring in a jobber for the same match and give us something where Asuka can look like more of a star.
Do you want to see Emma face Asuka again? If not, who should be Asuka’s next opponent? Let us know in the comments below.
