Try again? While there are all kinds of ways to present a wrestler, choosing the wrong way can be a disaster for someone’s career. Wrestlers using the wrong gimmick or character can have a lot of trouble getting their footing and occasionally a change needs to be made. That is the case again in WWE, and now it seems that the company is considering such a change for a tag team.

Earlier this year, there were reports that WWE was discussing a gimmick change for the Maximum Male Models, though such a change has yet to come. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, those talks began again at Summerslam last weekend in Detroit, though there is no guarantee that a change is coming. The team, comprised of ma.ce & man.soor, has not wrestled on television since January.
There was internal discussion of repackaging them a couple months back that picked up again this weekend when I talked to people in Detroit.

Opinion: It makes sense for WWE to consider changing up a team that they have not been using for a long time now. The team has not been around for several months now and it might be what they need to mix it up for them. They certainly have talent, but sometimes that is not enough to overcome the situation that they are in, which might be the case here with the Models.
