Him Too? WWE Reportedly Brings In Former World Champion For Special Role

It’s a job. There are all kinds of people who come together to make a wrestling show work and several of them are not going to get in the ring. These are the people who work backstage and help put a show together. They are often called producers or agents and most of the time are former wrestlers. Now WWE might be looking into another one, and he is a fairly familiar name.

According to PWInsider.com, former NWA and Impact Wrestling World Champion Nick Aldis was backstage at this week’s Monday Night Raw as a producer. WWE reportedly wanted him for the role in recent weeks and he is expected to be at the next several Monday Night Raw tapings. There is nothing to suggest that Aldis will appear on television. Aldis left Impact Wrestling last month following a return earlier this year.

Opinion: Aldis is someone who has wrestled around the world and has quite the resume, so it would be a smart move for WWE to bring him in for this role. At the same time, there is every chance that he could wind up getting in the ring at some point. I could go for seeing what he can do in the role, as he is a smart idea for WWE to bring in wrestlers with different kinds of experience.
