Just for them. There are a lot of things that take place on any given episode of Monday night Raw. This week’s Monday Night Raw took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During a dark segment at some point during the night, Olympic gold medal winner Gable Steveson appeared in an in-ring segment where he suplexed Dolph Ziggler several times. Ziggler had said there were no heroes in Minneapolis, which is near where Steveson went to college. Steveson made his in-ring WWE debut at NXT’s Great American Bash, though there is no word on if he will be returning to amateur wrestling for the upcoming World Championships or next year’s Olympics.
Steveson has had some moments in WWE. Check out some of what he has done:
Opinion: WWE was smart to do something like this and it helped boost up the fans in the building. Sometimes it makes sense to put a special moment in front of the live crowd only. Steveson is going to mean more to those fans than he is to anyone else watching at home and it might be better to limit his audience. He is still new at this stuff and letting him find his footing could help a lot.
What do you think of Steveson’s time in WWE? How will he do in professional wrestling? Let us know in the comments below.
