In a new interview with The Drum, Stephanie McMahon hinted that the Mixed Match Challenge might be coming back in the future. The original incarnation of the show took place from January 16 – April 3 of this year with twelve episodes, all airing on Facebook Live. McMahon said that the show was a success and suggested that the show could take place again at some point. Here are her comments:
“It had over 100 million views and it was considered a success by Facebook. We’re now in conversations to see where we go from here, but we’re nimble and flexible.”
If nothing else we might get some more from these two lovable people.
Opinion: You know what, why not? The Mixed Match Challenge was literally a one match show every week, meaning each episode was only about twenty minutes long. Some of the matches were a lot of fun as the wrestlers were able to have a good time and still be entertaining, which is a lot more than you get on some of the more important shows. Bring it back and let them have some more fun as it’s not like it’s taking up any significant amount of time.
