If you have been watching Raw consistently for the past few months, you may have noticed that the superstars of 205 Live are no longer appearing on the program. It would appear that they are remaining on their show on the WWE Network, and perhaps a pre-show match on a pay-per-view.

But why is this the case?

According to a report from PWInsiderthe reason for this is because when Triple H took over as the lead of 205 Live, he wanted to keep the talent from being overexposed. In addition to making sure they were kept in a position where they were protected, the move was also part of the company’s strategy to try and change the perception of the Cruiserweight division.

Former NXT superstar made his debut on 205 Live last week, and you can see a clip of that here:

Editor’s Opinion:

I can see this as both a good and a bad thing. While it’s good that the Cruiserweights are being seen as their own brand, not everyone takes the time to watch how amazing they are on the WWE Network. Having a platform like Raw to showcase their talents gives more people the opportunity to see just how amazing these athletes are.
