Who needs advertised matches? This week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” was a big time deal as the main event was supposed to add a new name to the upcoming Smackdown World Title match main event at “Fastlane 2018”. The match was supposed to determine the fourth challenger but that didn’t quite happen. That’s not quite happened, but how did the audience change as a result?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” drew a .76 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.449 million viewers. These numbers are up 1% and down down 2% respectively from last week’s .75 rating and 2.505 million viewers. This week’s show was scheduled to be headlined by Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler but the match was changed to Ziggler vs. Sami Zayn and Corbin vs. Kevin Owens.

Top 10 SmackDown LIVE moments: WWE Top 10, February 13, 2018

Opinion: With just under a month to go before “Fastlane 2018”, it’s a good sign that the numbers are staying stable. When you factor in a lack of AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura from last night’s show, these numbers are pretty solid. If they can build on them as we head towards the pay per view that’s even better, but really all that matters is what happens between “Fastlane 2018” and “Wrestlemania XXXIV”.

What did you think of last night’s show? How can WWE make the numbers go even higher? Let us know in the comments below.
