This week on SmackDown, it was announced that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will serve as the guest host of this weekend’s Money In The Bank. The show will be held in Stratus’ hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. There is no word on what Stratus will be doing at the show. Stratus has made occasional appearances since retiring full time, with her longest run taking place last year.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes the most sense as Stratus is a legend in WWE and can be treated as a big deal for the local Toronto crowd. It isn’t like she is going to be doing very much but what matters is giving the fans something special, which should make for a cool moment. She might even get to do something physical, though just being around will likely be enough.
