One down, three to go. The Mae Young Classic saw a host of new talents appearing for WWE though few shined brighter than Shayna Baszler, who made it all the way to the finals before falling to Kairi Sane. One of the Four Horsewomen of MMA, Baszler was clearly going to be a big deal in WWE in the future. She’s now taken an important step towards that goal.

According to WWE.com, Baszler has officially reported to the WWE Performance Center to begin her official training. Baszler was signed to the WWE shortly after the finals of the Mae Young Classic. There is currently no word on when should could make an official debut, though there are still rumors of a Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen match at “Survivor Series 2017”.

Here’s what Baszler had to say after the finals:

Shayna Baszler holds her head high in defeat: Exclusive, Sept. 12, 2017

Opinion: I’m not sure how long Baszler is going to be training at the Performance Center as she’s certainly capable of having a good match on her own. That being said, there’s nothing wrong with getting in some extra practice and shaking off any bad habits that she might have picked up. Hopefully she’s in the ring again in a hurry.
