As close to official as you can get. Over the last few weeks, WWE has been teasing the heck out of a Shield reunion, specifically for the upcoming “Tables Ladders and Chairs 2017” pay per view. Roman Reigns has been beaten down for the last two weeks but last night saw WWE all but say the team was getting back together.

To end last night’s episode of “Monday Night Raw”, the three members of the team got together in the same room, though nothing was actually said. This came after Sheamus and Cesaro attacked Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose earlier in the night and then interfered in Reigns’ match with the Miz. Here’s the closing segment:

Former members of The Shield convene backstage: Raw, Oct. 2, 2017

Opinion: I’m not wild on just throwing Shield back together but if they’re facing Miz and Sheamus/Cesaro, it’s certainly an upgrade over a match with Miz and the Miztourage. As long as the match is entertaining and Shield does their usual stuff, everything should be fine in the long run.
