Say Goodbye? Rumor: The Revival Requests Release From WWE

Top guys out? The night after WrestleMania 33, the Revival made their way to the main roster, which is one of the great moments in post-WrestleMania Monday Night Raw over the last few years. They’re one of the all time great teams in NXT and yet somehow, nearly two years after making the main roster, they have yet to win the Tag Team Titles. As it turns out, they might not be happy with the results.

According to Ringsidenews.com, the Revival has requested their released from WWE. At the moment, there is no word on whether or not WWE would be willing to grant their request. The Revival has been feuding with Lucha House Party as of late, which also having two shots at the Tag Team Titles, currently held by Bobby Roode and Chad Gable. Roode and Gable won both matches, once by pinning the wrong man and the other when a foot on the rope was missed.

Opinion: Can you blame them for wanting out? Revival has been stuck on the treadmill against the Lucha House Party since November and can’t even get the titles from a thrown together team like Roode and Gable? I know they might not be the best team for the main roster style, but WWE put them together in developmental and turned them into this. If that’s how you set them up, don’t be surprised when it’s what they do on the main roster. I have no idea if they’ll get their release (remember how long it took Neville to get his) but can you blame them for wanting out?
