Video: Top Ten Funniest Royal Rumble Match Moments

Your individual tastes may vary. With less than two weeks to go before the 2019 Royal Rumble, it’s time to start looking back over the thirty plus year history of the event. There have been some career changing moments in there but at the same time there are some moments that aren’t quite as serious. Comedy has always been a big part of the Royal Rumble and that’s what we’re looking at today.

Royal Rumble Match's funniest moments: WWE Top 10, Jan. 14, 2019

WWE has posted a new Top Ten video looking at the Funniest Royal Rumble Match Moments. The video looks back over the history of the show with a variety of comedy moments, ranging over the show’s history. The majority of these take place in the modern era, though there are some that date back about twenty years. There is one that is a bit of an outlier and doesn’t fit the general theme of the video.

Opinion: This is one where you have to like WWE comedy, though some of these are rather universally funny. There’s something about seeing someone launched out to the floor that works very well on almost any level and that’s what we had here. More often than not there’s something like this in each edition of the Royal Rumble and thankfully WWE seems to know which should be remembered more than others.
