According to wrestlinginc.com, Ticketmaster has sent out an email saying that May’s “Backlash 2018” will be a dual branded show featuring both “Monday Night Raw” and “Smackdown Live” talent. The same report cites a tween from WrestleVotes, saying that only pay per views will be affected, meaning the TV shows will not be changing.
Starting with the Backlash PPV May 6th, all PPVs going forward will be dual branded. No more RAW or Smackdown exclusive shows. Source states repetitive matchups to fill the card along with so-so ticket sales lead to the decision.
The weekly TV shows will not be effected.

This might make it harder for people to join this list.
Opinion: If this leads to fewer pay per views crowding the calendar, I’m all for it. How many times does it feel like there are pay per views being put up for the sake of putting up a pay per view that month? It gets annoying and tiring in a hurry so this could be some very welcome news. If there’s no single branded show, there’s not much of a reason to have them on pay per view so often.
