Make sure to pack a sweater. WrestleMania is the biggest wrestling show in the world, including the now huge series in Saudi Arabia. Every year, around 70,000 people will show up in a stadium for the show, which doesn’t even include all of the other WWE shows and the outside events. It’s the biggest weekend of the wrestling year and now we may know where it’s going to be in a year and a half.
According to Joe Peisich on the Barnburner Podcast, WrestleMania 36 in 2020 will be revealed for Minneapolis, Minnesota later this month. There is no word on when the show will take place, though US Bank Stadium would be the venue. The last midwest WrestleMania was WrestleMania 22 in Chicago and next year’s WrestleMania 35 will be held in New Jersey.
Maybe we can add to this list.
Opinion: As someone who doesn’t care for having to drive fifteen hours to get to WrestleMania, it’s nice to have a show possibly being that much closer. There hasn’t been a WrestleMania in the midwest in far too long so hopefully there is going to be something a little closer to the middle of the country. I know it’s a long time before we get there, but it would be cool to see.
Do you think WrestleMania will come to Minneapolis? Where do you want it to go? Let us know in the comments below.
