It’s as sharp as ever. Last year, Neville walked away from WWE, despite being a huge star on the 205 Live roster and winning the Cruiserweight Title twice during the year. The issue has had several updates over the course of the year with WWE finally allowing Neville to leave the company. The question became where Neville would surface next, and now we know the answer.

Neville made his return to the ring last night at Dragon Gate’s The Gate of Victory event in Tokyo, Japan at Korakuen Hall. He wrestled under his pre-WWE name of PAC and teamed with Elita to defeat BxB Hulk and Shingo Takagi with the Red Arrow. This is Neville’s first match in one year as his most recent match was on the October 1, 2017 episode of Monday Night Raw. Here’s a clip of the finish to the match:

Opinion: That’s kind of an odd choice for Neville, but anytime he’s back in the ring it’s a good thing for the wrestling world. He was on a roll in WWE and if this is the place that he wants to be, good for him. There’s always a chance that he’ll be back in WWE one day, but for now we can watch him wrestle elsewhere and see what he can do. You can imagine other companies coming after him and that’s going to be entertaining.
