Well, at least he did something. Braun Strowman was one of the fastest rising stars that almost anyone has seen in the last few years. He went from a monster who served as Bray Wyatt’s enforcer and has become one of the top heels in the company. This is going to bring Strowman up the ladder a little bit and that means seeing him do some things outside the ring.
Blink and you’ll miss these hands.
Strowman has landed a part in the upcoming film Holmes & Watson, starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. There is no word on what Strowman will be doing in the movie, but the trailer, which can be seen above, features Strowman in a ring of some sort with Reilly hitting him in the back with a chair. Strowman’s scene appears at 1:30 into the trailer. The film will be released in the US on December 21.
Opinion: Good for Strowman. I’m not wild on how he’s been used in recent months but someone like Strowman is going to be able to be in roles like this for a long time with his size and charisma. I don’t know if he has any future as an actor, but it’s cool to get to have him in there every now and then as something like this. Now if only he could have World Champion on his resume as well.
What do you think of Strowman as a heel? Will he ever be World Champion? Let us know in the comments below.
