Changes can get bigger. Over the last few weeks, the lineups for Survivor Series has changed over and over and over, with names being moved in and out of the elimination tag matches literally from day to day. When you have so many names on the rosters in the first place, this can cause a lot of changes one way or another, and it turns out that one of them might be a lot bigger than others.
On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez suggested that the final remaining spot on the SmackDown Live women’s Survivor Series team could be filled in by Shayna Baszler, who could make her main roster debut along with fellow Four Horsewomen members Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke. This could lead to the long awaited Four Horsewomen of NXT vs. Four Horsewomen of MMA match, which could take place at anytime. It should be noted that this is only an idea, and not something that is guaranteed in the cards at the moment.
It’s not like the seeds haven’t been planted.
Opinion: I’m really not sure on this one. Duke and Shafir haven’t even had televised matches yet and bringing them up to the main roster with literally no in-ring appearances sounds like a big jump.. It also brings up the question of when this match would take place, as Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch seem to be heading for a singles match at WrestleMania 35. What’s the point in bringing the other three up if the four on four match isn’t an option for WrestleMania? Maybe this is the case, but it doesn’t make the most sense.
