RUMOR KILLER On The Rock’s WrestleMania 40 Opponent

Not happening. There are certain rivalries in wrestling that have stood the test of time and you can see the people getting involved with each other over and over again throughout the years. Years can pass between the people getting involved with each other and that has been the case again in recent days. However, this time around you should not get your hopes up for a match.

Earlier this week, WWE presented the WrestleMania 40 press event in Las Vegas. Following the event, the Rock yelled at WWE executive Triple H. The following night on SmackDown, Triple H referenced the Rock during an interview and included some of the Rock’s catchphrases. The Rock is scheduled to return to SmackDown next week. According to F4WOnline.com by way of Cagesideseats.com, there are no plans for the Rock and Triple H to wrestle at WrestleMania 40. It is not clear if Triple H is able to wrestle due to health issues in 2021.

Opinion: I wasn’t exactly expecting Triple H to get back in the ring with the Rock or anyone for that matter, as his health issues have seemed to ended his in-ring career. That being said, if WWE cannot present the match, they might want to tone down what they are implying. Otherwise, we need to see what is going on with Rock, who is going to have to face someone at WrestleMania, which opens up quite a few days.
