Not so fast. The internet has changed the way the wrestling world works in ways that no one could have seen coming. Now fans can talk to each other and find out information from all over the world. That can allow fans to learn a lot of things, but it does not mean that everything you see is accurate. It seems that is the case this time around, as some results might not be entirely true.
AEW Dynamite has gone from not existing a year ago to being one of the biggest wrestling shows every single week. It features some excellent action and storytelling with some of the biggest stars outside of WWE, if not the entire world. Some of their top stars are former WWE wrestlers and it is a big deal when some former WWE wrestlers make their AEW debuts. However, it seems that someone reported to be making his debut might not be quite the case.
Earlier this week, some spoilers for next week’s edition of AEW Dynamite were posted on Reddit. These results included two new debuts, including Erick Rowan and Thunder Rosa, the former of whom was said to help Brodie Lee win the TNT Title from Cody. However, according to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, these results are inaccurate, as Rowan was said to have cut his beard and grown his hair out. Rowan appeared in an interview earlier in the day and his appearance had not changed since his final appearances with WWE. The show is scheduled to air on Saturday August 22 on a delay due to the NBA Playoffs.
1) Rowan did an IG live video yesterday with his exact same bald head and beard, so this makes no sense.
2) The accurate AEW spoilers have all come from the same account, except this one. That is a huge red flag. Plus, there’s another thread saying all these spoilers are bogus. https://t.co/oRwymyWsdm

The team could have been interesting again. Check out what Lee and Rowan have done together, plus Thunder Rosa:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is going to happen every now and then and in a way, that is a good thing this time around. Lee and Rowan have a history together, but AEW does not need to reunite a WWE team that wasn’t exactly a game changer. Bringing in Rowan is fine, but putting him with Lee in part of a cult would feel like a big WWE rehash, which isn’t where they need to go.
