Not just yet. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster but at some point, the company has to do something to make sure they stick around. That can often be a tricky move as a wrestler might not be happy with how things are going on their previous contract. It can lead to some intense negotiations and now it seems that some of them are still going.

Over the weekend, Drew McIntyre won the Elimination Chamber, earning the right to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. This led to speculation that McIntyre had signed a new deal with WWE, which had been rumored for months now. However, according to PWInsider.com by way of Wrestlingnews.co, this is not the case and McIntyre does not have a new deal in place. McIntyre’s deal is expected to expire in the weeks after WrestleMania, though it is expected that he will sign a new deal with WWE.

Opinion: This is getting more and more interesting, as McIntyre’s star continues to rise but he is apparently just a few weeks away from having his current WWE deal expire. I’m not sure if he is going to sign again, but both sides are certainly cutting it close. Maybe the two sides can come to an agreement, which would be great as McIntyre has been on fire in recent months.
